These days there is a range of different types of braces available. Rather than a traditional brace, we use the Damon brace, which uses a low-friction “sliding door” technology to move teeth with lower levels of force and more comfort. The sliding doors eliminate the need for elastic ties, which results in cleaner teeth and less decalcification.
